Xiaomi Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition smartphone was launched in September 2018. The new Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition sports a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2248 Full HD+ resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The high end smartphone runs on Snapdragon 845 chipset processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal memory. As far as the cameras are concerned, it packs a 12-megapixel (f/1.4) + 12-megapixel (f/1.4) primary camera on the rear and a 20-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It is powered by a 3400mAh. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and Active 4G on both SIM cards.

On the Xiaomi online store in China, the Mi 8 Pro Screen Fingerprint Edition, the base model carried 6GB RAM along with 128GB of internal memory, along with a price of CNY 3,199 (Rs.34,000 approx.). There was also an 8GB RAM version with 128GB of internal storage, but that was more expensive, featuring a price of CNY 3,599 (Rs.38,000 approx.).

Introduction and Display

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro Screen Fingerprint Edition features a 6.21-inch Samsung AMOLED screen that features a notch of the top of the display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
